Our Story

We were raised in a large Italian family, rooted in traditions that emphasized unity, presence, and honoring elders with dignity. Caring for family at home — surrounded by people who truly know and love you — was always considered a privilege, not a burden. That foundation shaped our lives deeply; six of us went on to pursue careers in healthcare.

Calabria Home Care was born from personal experience — and from moments that profoundly shaped our family’s understanding of what care should be.

Through the care of our grandparents, we witnessed firsthand how easily respect, safety, and communication can be compromised when care becomes rushed, understaffed, or impersonal. We learned how painful it is to question whether the people you love are truly being seen, protected, and listened to — and how deeply families carry that weight.

Those experiences became the foundation of our mission.

We know how hard it is to trust someone else with the well-being of a loved one. We know the fear that comes from not being present every moment. And we believe families deserve care that feels attentive, accountable, and compassion driven.
